Ewloe Castle Woodland

This project was to make a contribution to enable the purchase of woodland surrounding Ewloe Castle.

A bid was being made by Flintshire Countryside Service to HLF Lottery Funding to secure ownership of this area of woodland which was already covered by their management. The woodland is included in the Deeside and Buckley Newt Sites Special Area of Conservation (SAC)
