Maes-y-Grug

This project created a new pond within a damp rush pasture enhancing NEWW’s Maes y Grug Reserve for great crested newt breeding. The creation of a drystone wall with the assistance of volunteers now provides refuge for reptiles and amphibians.

These are images showing the Maes-y-Grug project before, during, and after the work had been completed. (You can pause the images by placing your mouse icon over the image)
